I'm almost finished on the top for this table runner and it has lost all of its appeal. I'm thinking of donating it to Good Will. I can't get the hair to behave and not look "possessed"! I've tried stitching it down, but it just looks "dorky" now. LOL! I guess I wasn't meant to be a hair stylist! Any suggestions on how to get it manageable would be greatly appreciated!

Deb, 1st off - I love it like it is - is it machine embroidered hair? If so you - can wet it a bit and then put a hot iron to it - or not - I think I would leave it just like it is. Hehehe!

It looks great. It's hard to have neat hair when you get off your broom.

I like it too! It looks just like I'd think a witch's hair would look! All that flying thru the air has ruffed it up!

Not a hair person, but I think its really cute. That had to take some time adding hair. I wouldn't toss.

I think the hair is cute just like the little witches. If you feel like you want to tame the hair try a fabric softener sheet or some hair spray.

I'm sure you're right. LOL, this was to be a "fast" project all machine applique - done in no time, but with all the time fiddling and stitching the hair, I could have hand appliqued it! *4U

Yep, I often wondered why, if a witch were so magical, they didn't work some magic on their face! hee hee Thanks.

If you want it to stay in place more, maybe add a little bit of fabric glue where you want the hair to stay.

I've glued and stitched tried everything but staples! LOL 8-) Thanks for the compliment. *4U
