Alice you are very busy.good luck with the move.Must get your new address .do you still have the same phone number?
Yes Sandra the phone number is still the same. The new address is 40 Seaholly Crescent Victoria Point. But Embroidery Allsorts address will be 6 Twinspur Court, how cool is that.
Sounds like alot of work - but that you are making great progress and that you will be very pleased with it when you are all finished and have everything in it's place - I am so happy for you.
Sounds like a great house for you! Congratulations and I wish you grand success and happiness there! God Bless both you and your new home!;>)
I know what you are going through, I´ve just done the same, it is just a month since we moved to a new/old flat and I had to replace a bit in the kitchen and do some painting, now I just have to find a place on the wall for my family picture and so on, then it is all done and I can carry on with the embroidery.
Sigrun I have not done any of the painting, it would take me a month, We have hired a really good painter.
...... :} ..... Hi Alice......
What excitement!!! I hope that all goes well in your new home and that getting things in shape the way you want them proves to be the best therapy ever.
AlmaG.
Am so pleased for you :) Onwards and Upwards :)
Hugs - Marie
Alice this sounds so exciting. Tomorrow we are going to clear my late mothers home, load the van and return on the following day. Some of the furniture will then go to our younger daughter - another van another journey.. Wishing you all the very best with your move
That sounds like it will be difficult. Good luck with it, I hope it is not to painful.
What fun to be settling into a new place and to have a studio! Oooo, how marvelous! I'm happy for you! Hugs and *'s
Moving is miserable and joy at the same time. I am glad you found the joy.
So good to hear from you Alice. It all sounds as if it is all falling into place. Very pleased for you.
Congrats on acquiring a new home and a studio. I am so happy for you. I know how much work it takes to get a new house into live-in condition. Hope it is all done soon.
Congratulations! I know moving can be both exciting and stressful at the same time. Hang in there....it will be home sweet home soon.
Don't envy you for the moving part Alice-but I do for your own entrance for the studio-I would love to have a separate entrance for customers-I work in the basement-people don't come down here-but they do use my back door-and stand in my dining room when they need stuff done. They also have use of my bathroom-which is near the back door-when they need to try things on that I need to do alterations on
Enjoy you new home!!
I am so happy for you, and your new home sounds
perfect! I know what you are going through, as I have been painting off and on for the past several months. When I get a bit of energy and get on a "roll", I tell everyone not to stop me!! It takes TOO long to get going again!! LOL Enjoy!
Congratulations!!
Angel
Can tell how excited and anxious you are to get moved in. Sounds like the house is going to be perfect for what you need.
Wow this is a real advantage if your customers don't stand in front of your livingroom (like mine). Isn't it a kick when you can say: "I live in XXX and my atelier is in YYY! :o)
Seems you are like me: Just working when the pressure is high *lol* I'm also somebody who is lazy and think I have so much time and then the time is suddenly short ;-)
Hope you can manage to relax a little bit between your quickstarts...
Greetings, Bettina
Don't overdo it too much Alice. I know what it's like moving - we've done it lots of times!!!! Look after your hands and legs. Love Chris
Thanks Chris, I am trying not to over do it but I am on a bit of a high at the moment, it is par for the course for me after being so low for so long to swing to far the other way, but I will calm down soon enough.
