I have had a surgery like that as well. My Mom had to clean my wound 3 times per day. It would make her sick every time. Finally, it started to heal. It will be ok. Patience and love will make the time go faster. My prayers are with you and your daughter.
Glad to hear your daughter is home, I am sure that she will recover much better there than hospital
I had colon surgery and nurses came for 1 week, then I had to pack my wound myself! Don't cry, Drs do what is need for her to heal, and even though it is tough to see her hurting, she will heal and she need you to be strong. Healing is all done for me, I am up and around, but the first time I had to pull out that old packing and put in new I thought I would pass out! Didn't, got it done. We are tougher than we know! Linda
A Mother's heart can be crushed beyond endurance by the pain of her child's suffering. You, too, need to heal from the inside. Place your heart in God's hands for blessed healing. With a heart at ease see God's might as your daughter goes from strength to strength.
My prayers are with you.
God will use his healing hand and make her well. My prayers are with all of you.

Judy so glad to hear that Doris is home. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs Yvonne
It must be comforting for your daughter to have such a caring mother. My mom passed when I was 20. I so miss her. Take care
I am glad she is home and has a nurse coming for help. I will keep praying for you both.
Great news she is home so your daughter must be on the mend. Keep strong. You are in my thoughts. Hugs Sarah.
She may be having trouble, but she is making progress because she is home!! I hope that she continues to make positive steps toward mending and recovering. I would bring you both some homemade goodies if you lived a tad closer. But 2000+ miles is a long way to keep food warm. I wish for you and your daughter better days ahead and health beyond your wildest dreams!!!
Prayers going up for you and your family. I hope everything turns out well.
I pray that you and your dear daughter will get the care and support you need to get through this difficult time. I pray that our Lord Jesus will place His healing hand on her wound and heal it quickly and completely. And praise God for Home Health Care Nurses. They are wonderful.
You are in my prayers! Take heart in these verses in Jeremiah 29. 11-For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
12-Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13-And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
My prayers are with you and your family. Hope better roads lie ahead,
Michelle
I know it is so awful and scary now. But take hope in all the prayers going up right now. And many of us have had friends in the same condition, including a good friend of mine. She has been healed and continues to work full time and manage all of her activities. Keep updating us on her progress.
It most definately will Judy-I think it was about 2 or 3 months for mine-same deal-wide open-I ended up with an infection which kinda slowed the healing process. It looks like there is no way it'll ever close up-but it does. Be strong mom!
Good thoughts and prayers to you and your daughter that the healing process goes quickly and completely! christine
My prayer go up for you both. May God's healing hands do all the necessary work, and I pray that she will recover soon. Love and best wishes.****
So good to hear that your daughter is back home. My prayers are with her
Love Brenda
She is better off at home. I will keep you and your daughter in my thoughts and prayers.
It will close up and look better every day. Praying for your daughter's recovery.
I had a friend who had the same thing, had to come hope and her wide open incision from a kidney transplant(!) had to heal from the inside out. It did take quite a while, but she's been fine for years now. You and your daughter hang in there, you will be fine. God bless you.
Thankfully your daughter is home, she will receive more love and care there, my prayers are with you and your daughter. Blessings.
