10/21/11 * Does anyone know how to take off metal rhinestones off of a store bought jacket without leaving all the glue marks? TIA ;D

I had to remove a patch once. I used an iron on the wrong side of the fabric, on the "cotton" setting.
The patch came right off.
Also, you might want to go to: E-HOW.COM, and type in your problem. They always have an answer for any issue.
Please let us know how it worked out for you.
Good luck! Rachel

Goo Gone is a solution that the rhinestones and the glue both have come off without leaving any stain and soiling the fabric. You can use a q-tip to apply the Goo Gone solution on the area where any glue might remain and then peel off any glue left from removing the rhinestones. I use this to get the sticky off of hoops and when it gets on things it evaporates and have never left a stain for me but you might want to test on the inside seam first.

Hi,don't know if this will work, but got a tip the other day, in a magazine, that vodka dissolves glue! maybe try it,vodca doesn't stain nor will it leave odours,so can't harm giving it a go. Please let me3 know if it worked, regards Lesley
