Gotta love their sales! I love their designs once I have them stitched out. The stitch count does not intimidate me. My biggest design that I have done (1 design only, no additional designs added) was almost 110 thousand stitches. Beautiful design when done and it was not an EL design.
Talk about about stitch count. I am about to undertake
one of their designs (91610 stitches) I must be crazy, but it is for my GD so I say, why not. I love EMBLIB and their designs although I was dissapointed this week with one of their designs I put on a placemat (in projects) that wasn't what the picture showed and had to improvise on my own. Cuties liked it though so I guess it is O.K. Will continue to buy and buy and buy.
Their designs are beautiful but I have a gazillion designs already and no chance to stitch them all....
Same to me ;o)
Yes I'm addicted to embroidery-designs. Always have the excuse that I could need them for my business (and next year on the tax) and I have to make a stock for the time when my kids are out of the house *lol*
I tell my DH I collect designs...no dusting & can store them in a very small space!! If I stitched for another 50 yrs. all day, I probably still wouldn't get them all done! But they're there if I need them!
My husband also prefers designs cause my fabric needs much more space. And I like them because I can hide my shoppingspree much better in my mac ;o)
Which one(s) do you plan to buy or are you just looking? I looked last night but thankfully was not tempted as sewing time is cur rently limited. I look at some of the mega stitch count designs and wonder if some of the background colour could be done as an applique. Saving time and thread. I say this as once my machine threw a wobbly and the design was ruined
Just bought the Art-Nouveau-seasons and the seasonal branch. Like the horizons very much but that price is not so deep now. When I get the next 50%-code I could buy them cheaper so no need to hurry ;o) I also though about using a colored fabric and leave away the backgroundcolor...
away the backgroundcolor to minimize the stitchcount.
Greetings, Bettina
PS: Did I say that I hate this "cut-off" in the comments? :o(
