Embroidered Cards.

Both of these cards are from files I downloaded from DBC. Thank you to Mops for the rose and to Gilliane for the duck.

These two people spurred me on to digitise my own designs - please see the separate posting.

Good job on these (to you and the designers). I think I like the cute little Duck the best, although they are both well done.

Julia, these are wonderfully done - you did a great job - now - let us hope that you don't take this long to post any new projects that you might have up your sleeve - keep on stitching.

Thank you, I have done very little embroidery for about 18 months as life got in the way, but now I've started again...

shirlener88 by shirlener88 28 Oct 2011

That is great - that you are starting again.

Great job! I love the edge of the ducky one and the oval shield under the rose makes it special, as does the colouring of both.

Thank you - I hope I did justice to your design. I did have an oops moment and put the red in first instead of the green - but I am very pleased with the result.

Blendable colouring pencils. It was the post by you of mops rose that spurred my on. I have now posted a 2nd picture of my own digitised cards.

jasanne by jasanne 28 Oct 2011

what exactly are 'blendable colouring pencils'? My efforts with plain colouring pencils sure don't look this nice
