I have noticed that a lot of you are homeschooling parents or grandparents. I think that is fantastic! I home schooled my kids through high school and it really made a difference in their level of education, as well as maturity.

My son had trouble with math, and so he took the initiative to find some answers on his own. In doing so, he stumbled upon an absolute goldmine of information and assistance. If you haven't already tried it, I would strongly urge any homeschooling families, as well as families with school aged children, to check out Khan Academy. It is absolutely free, no strings attached, and so very wonderful for teaching in a way that makes learning fun and rewarding.
