Dear Carol - I m so terribly sorry to read what you are going through. My thoughts and love are coming from South Africa. Sarah.
my thoughts and prayers are for you.and I add a big hug.
Carol, my heart goes out to you, and my prayers for you! Cancer has stricken my family members so frequently throughout the past fifty years, it is mind boggling, but we must stay strong, as life goes on, and it is ALL in the Lord's plan.
If it is any consolation to your worries, my next door neigbor has lung cancer; just had large amounts of the upper lobes removed two months ago, and appears to be doing better than he has in years. Praying for your son and hubby each day!
Angel
Thank you Angel. We both are staying strong and positive, but there are some days I just feel so lost. Hugs..Carol
May the good Lord be with you and yours through this most difficult time. Prayers and healing thoughts being sent your way.
Saying prayers for you both. It's only been a few months since my hubby had his right kidney removed due to cancer.
Sending prayers for continued strength for you and your family and recovery for your hubby.
I shall keep you and your family in my prayers. Remember that God is by your side and shall walk you through these trying days. A big hug for you>

I am praying that all goes well with his surgery. Hugs, Mary
Dear Carol, you are right in that the power of prayer is so tangible. I pray that all goes well with the surgery and that your husband will be o.k. Love and blessings Chris
Praying for everything goes allright. God bless you and your husband.
I just want to let you know that my husband had the whole right lung removed (all 3 lobes). This was 18 yrs ago now! He gets short of breath but can still do most things (shovelling snow, fishing,...just no climbing mountains!).When his cancer was discovered the surgeon thought it best to remove the whole lung and thus got it all. It has changed some things, and we go a little slower at times, but hey,he is still here and we are very happy! So do not despair! I do know what you are going through, and I know it is not easy, but it does get better!! You will be in my prayers.
Love & Hugs, Nadyne
Thank you Nadyne. He has slowed down alot with just the upper lobe removed but has never given up. He is very active and when he gets out of breath he just stops and rests a few mins. He knows when he wakes up after surgery he may just be left with the one lung and it doesn't seem to bother him. But then he says why worry about what you cannot control. Thank you for your prayers. Hugs..Carol
dang, I was cut off. He always says why worry about what you can not change. We will get thru it. thanks you for your prayers. Hugs..Carol
That is what my husband does also, and he has the same attitude towards things.
Hang in there!
Love & Hugs, Nadyne
