Sue box has such beautiful designs and you did a great job on this one. Very nice

Gorgeous! I love Sue Box FSL designs. I have had to soak in warm water for several hours to get the soft feel. It is worth the time it takes. The end result is outstanding. You did a great job
Well done
Cindy B.

this is really stunning and it sewed out perfect...
It is beautiful what ever you will use for the stitching looks hand made i love it Maria
Very pretty...how would you add the beads? I thought when it is done with crochet the beads are added as you go, guess they could be just hand stitched on this one.
this is really lovely and beads would be wonderful....soozie
You have done a great job! I have stitched it four times (4 gifts) each in one hooping. To have it soft, I have rinsed first in warm water and then kept in a large bowl of water for about two-three days, renewing the warm water often. The result is a very lovely, shiny and soft (but heavy) doily! I had used Robison-Anton rayon thread.
I would loved to do it in just one hoop, but I have a 5 X 7 hoop that I use so have to do it in the 4 quarters. I have it soaking again at the moment. I think it is really a beautiful deaign.
This is beautiful Lyn, what thread weight did you use? I agree with everyone else, if you just keep washing it - it will soften. Love and blessings Chris
Chris, Might sound silly, but I don't know. I used polyester thread from Creek Creations here in Aust. It is #307 and is called Linen. Hope that helps.
It is beautiful! It is hard for me to believe you can do it on an embroidery machine. What size is it?
It's excellently stitched. If you want it soft you could put a little bit of fabric softener or vinegar in the hot water rinse. The beads should give it enough weight to hold it in place.
Lyn, this is lovely - I have stitched this design several times - I think I would soak it in very 'hot' water and rinse it several times. If it gets soft enough - I know it would be lovely with the beads and be wonderful for a milk jug cover. A+
I think it would look stunning as a milk cover, with beads.
Try soaking it over night, that should make it nice and soft. Hugs Yvonne
I don't think so, It is beautiful.

Thank You. If the milk jug cover doesn't work then it will just have to be a doily.
