What a lovely gift you've made for someone& could be personalized too. Did you add any heat reflective fabric like for ironing boards? Thanks for sharing your project.:~D
No, I haven't tried the heat reflective fabric. Might make them too expensive for people to buy at a Market, but sounds like a great idea. Thanks
Maybe try cutting a strip& ironing to the outer edge using steam a seam type adhesive. Hope it helps& enjoy selling at the market.:~D
I would love to make one for my husband I bought a Jeff Gordon pattern so I could make hin one he is such a fan but never could figure out how to make it.

I didn't know there were instructions. I just made mine up after getting into my car one very hot day last Dec and thought I should do something about it so here they are. I can see I will have to add my instructions possibly next Monday.
They look fantastic. What a good idea, I might have to make one as well, just been out in my car the wheel is so cold.
Very Nice , well done. I might have to make one for my car. Just got in it and the steering wheel was to hot to touch.
I tried one last week and even though the steering wheel was still hot, I was still able to put my hands on it to drive. It just takes that burning away.
Well I can only hope you're my Secret Santa. Red would go nicely with my white car. hahahahahahahaha!!!!
Great job Lyn, really lovely work too. hugs n love, Meg
Sorry Meganne, I have been so busy that I have not been in touch with Sue for the Secret Santa. Now I wish I had and you were my SS as I would know what to make for you.
Very nice. You will have to give us the instructions on how you make these. I think they would make a great item for our bazarr next year
I have listed these with instructions in Projects on how I made them earlier this year. Maybe some will be able to find them. If not I will let you know after the weekend as I am busy till then. Sorry!
The variegated thread gives this design a lot of dimension.
