You are going to make one baby very happy. Especially with moving parts to play with. Cute
Oh Michelle, he's just as cute as he can be. This is why embroidery is so wonderful, it allows for creating things that just can't be bought in any store... oh so precious and memorable. I sort of had a love/hate relationship with applique at first, but now I'm warming up to it.
Hugs back to you!

Thank you Liz
I have never taken the time to really go it my all and always seem to have little bits of thread that, for me doesn't make it neat enough. I guess it is all in the technique.
I agree that the beauty of embroidery is the ability to create unique designs that no one else has. I try to never do the exact same design twice.
Dear Michelle, I absolutley LOVE applique - it would be my favourite sewing style. You've done a great job and hey, aren't the designs from SMART NEEDLE just awesome? Love and blessings Chris
They are and I have done several. They are a great hit with the kids. I will try to practice on applique, (I think that is whats missing, practice makes perfect)
Thanks Chris

Great job. What a cute lion. Love him. Your bib is great also. Did you make it too?
Yes I make my own bibs before I embroider them that way I can make the size according to my clients wishes. I make them out of terrycloth velour. They are so soft.
Thanks for you comment,

Michelle - it is very cute - the more applique you do - the more you will enjoy it, too.
this bib is sew cute and the wiggly legs just makes the lion even better looking....cute and great job.....
Soory I forgot the mention that the design is from Smart needle (wiggly animals) there are several and they are all cute. Have also done the cow and the frog and they
turned out great.
Please excuse the quality of this photo, I think I need a
new camera. SANTA PLEASE HEAR ME
lol i think he needs a better hint then this lol but you did make me smile:):):)
the legs are sew in applique style separately and sewn into place before the lion face is embroidered. Well thought out, you can not tell where it is attached.
