I put a splash of liquid fabric softener in with water in a spray bottle. It works on the inside of skirts and tops too. xx
Thanks for reminding me of something I used to do... I used to do that to the carpets in the winter time... it did help cut down on the static electricity build up. Thanks for responding.
I think it is to do with our synthetic clothing! Happens to me more in the winter when there is no humidity! Cannot help nothing seems to work for long...Hugs Sally
Drro has a good idea. I've looked at humidifiers recently, too. May have to get one for in here in my workroom. Lots of electrical things in here.
Oh ouch!!!!
Well, its not the worse injury I've ever had... but a static charge jolt does get the attention. LOL! Thanks for responding.
You probably need a little humidity in your room.
Yeah, its that time of year again, isn't it? I'll keep that in mind, too. Thanks for responding.
I am not sure. I wonder if rubbing on of the dryer sheets on the ironing board would help.
Well, I after I got the last piece of the pattern off the ironing board, I did spray it with Static Guard. After I put my ironing board away, I sprayed my whole work table, too. Just between me and you, I've used used fabric softener sheets as stabilizer for redwork designs. Thanks for responding.
