Today in the UK its Children in Need day. I made & donated 10 baby quilts to our local hospital, and my other half has gone to work in his pyjamas and slippers. Donating all monies raised. :) The German Christmas Market is in town so looking forward to having a right good mooch through. Happy Friday Cuties. :)

Well we may be skint due to the Economy, but good old Blighty raised a record breaking £26 Million last night and still rising, for Children in Need. AWESOME.

Well done you! I rather miss being in school on Children in Need day as we used to do loads of silly things to raise money. I'm afraid all I did this year was cough up to sponsor other people to do stuff. We did donate our club raffle money last night.

I dont work on Friday's so I have missed the fun today. Two years ago I dressed up as a Nurse and embroidered a badge with Matron of Amputations and had a hacksaw in my top pocket. I wore my daughters training uniform. My hacksaw got in the way a bit but yes its fun and raises a lot of money for good childrens causes

Also, you are to be commended on the 10 quilts! I am haveing a problem producing ONE!!!

Hi Judy, yes all the staff pay £5 each to wear pj's, so loads of ££ raised. I patchworked the baby quilts, add a border, wadding, plain back then I just crazy stitch the border. This keeps the center nice and plump. took me 2wks. Hugs
