Hi Cuties, I've been asked to make a few bags for Christmas and as I'm useless without a pattern I though somebody out there might be able to recommend a few sites I could look at for patterns. Free if possible. I've got one lady wanting a bag for her kniting, another for new baby items and another for gardening bit and bobs. Thanks.

Hope you share them in projects when you are through along with where you got the pattern, too.

I have no idea about the patterns since I always cute out the size that I need and go from there. I do not really do a lot of big bags, but make ballet shoe bags and lingery bags. They are very easy. I see, however, some of our cuties gave a lot of names and I am sure that there will be something for you. HAVE FUN!!**

I'm not sure what hoop size you have but I just got a notice The purple hat is having 50 percent off sale and some very cute larger bags for gardening,
sewing etc. I haven't been here in a while but like
the new larger bags.
Hugs

As someone who never uses a pattern for anything I would suggest you do a Google image search for fabric bags and you will get loads of inspiration.

It sounds like a tote. I don't know of free sewing ones off hand but I'm sure there are cuties that do.
I would search for free sewing tote patterns online.
I bet there are tons of them.
If you want ITH designs A stitch a half has many totes but not free.
