Hand crocheted Teapot. I purchased this while taking my tour in Savannah. This is also for my sister - just something a little different. I wish I had the pattern, I would like to give it a try.

Lovely. Does not look to difficult to reproduce the pattern; the center is just treble crochet and chain stitch.

Are you going to give it a try? It has been so long since I did crochet - wonder if I remember even how to chain.

If you take a very clear pic of the tea pot and send it to me I will try and read it and write a pattern for you. Also give me the size of the finshed piece.

Ooh I love this. I do do some crochet but haven't seen anything like this. Your sister will love it.

Oh my Beth, this is lovely - wouldn't it be nice if someone made a crochet embroidery tea pot just like this - for us - that can't do hand work and maybe someone has a pattern or they could tell you where to find one.

I was wondering if our experts out there could digitize one like it....hmmm, any takers?

It's neat how you can manipulate crochet thread. Do you think she will use it as a doily or frame it?

It is pretty small - only about 4" high, and 5" across - she may put it on her tree.
