Can anyone tell me how to remove temporary spray adhesive from fabric? I've tried washing it and it seems pretty permanent to me!

Alcohol is a solvent for glue. I use it all the time on different surfaces. I would test a small spot to make sure the ink is ok with the alcohol.

I have removed iron on adhesive, not temporary, with eucalyptus oil. I was surprise that it did not leave an oily mark on the fabric.

Best piece of advise is to only use 505 adhesive I've only used this product and have never had any problems. Hope you get the adhesive washed out. Hugs Karen

Do I drink it or rub it on (LOL)

Go ahead and drink it. May not do much for the fabric but will surely make you feel better about it.

my question is: How do you get it off the in the hoop project, when you have to spray the second piece of material that you put on top of the one embroidery. then you have to turn right side out and its sticky?

I hate the spray adhesive and now use glue stick and dab it on the fabric to hold in place and hten baste stitch.
If you do get the needle stuck up after useing spray adhesive then remove the thread fom the needle and place a pad of nail varnish remover under the foot and sew across it a couple of times, glue gone. annie in the uk

I only ever use 505 and have never had a problem with it. Wish I could help, but if the can says "temporary" then I would say was it a few more times...

What spray did you use? Might help to know in case other cuties have hit the same issue. Sorry, I can't help - I use Dritz and it always seems to wash out.
