A couple of these are on my to do list for Christmas. Nice that they can be enlarged a bit. They're quite lovely.
You can enlarge them a bit, but do what the craftycritter did: use a 30wt thread instead if the usual 40wt.
These are lovely we(older cuties) had fun makeing these last year so have fun and they look lovely hugs
Try placing metallic threads in the freezer until you are ready to use them. Use and place back in the freezer ubtil needed again.
What type of metallic thread did you use? I've tried metalic thread without success.I used a needle for metallics & slowed the machine down ,but it didn't help.
I always use the same metallic in the bobbin - this particular metallic was RA - run the machine on slow and watch the thread for kinks coming off the spool. Have found that if I run a bobbin and use it as the top thread it doesn't kink and break as often.

Thanks for the info .I have a different brand but I'll try this out & see if it works for me otherwise I might have to buy some RA
Looks great and thanks to Martine for the design. Love and blessings Chris
I love it in green! Although I digitised it using green (makes it a lot easier to see what you are doing) I only stitched in white. A pity, as I think yours is so nice.I hope you don't mind me adding the links.
Thank you so much for adding the link. I added them and they never showed up and then one comment shows up twice. Computers drive me nuts, but I couldn't live without one.
Good idea as a mail-gift. I am sure he will appreciate it.
How sweet of you. It's lovely. Nice work. Where did you find this design?
