A tip for all of us who are trying to get everything done. Take rest breaks. When we embroider when we are tired or in pain, bad things can happen. I did a rookie mistake the other day that could have easily been avoided. So also be sure to check that none of your fabric has gotten caught under the hoop. Merry Christmas to you all. And hope you all avoid mistakes that can ruin a project.

My mistake
is not picking up things that fall on the floor. With my puppy I have come to an agreement that what is on the floor she can have anything else she needs to keep her teeth off! Dropped cotton reels are at the moment her favourite!

Hope you were able to save your project. You are not alone in making an error embroidering. After a mistake we tend to pay better attention to what we are doing.

Have done exactly that. Caught material under the hoop. Fortunately it was only stabilizer. I thought I was thrifty and could save on the Vilene by having a long piece. Making mistakes I guess is part of the learning process.
