Here is something new for me that I have wanted to try for sometime. Bread/bun warmer basket. I stippled the bottom using a quilt block 5x5 (to give it form). The top design is from emb. lib. as well as the flowers on the side panels. It is lined with insul-bright to keep bread warm. I like how it turned out but will put a heavier stabilizer lining in the next one so it stands up better. The stippled bottom worked great. Thanks for looking,

Hugs

Additional info and pic of bread basket.
The base is a 15 inch square (sorry I got that wrong, just remeasured to be sure) and the top is a separate piece measuring 8x10. The quilt block I embroidered in the bottom measures 195mm x 195mm you could make it smaller. Just remember not to go too big because it takes to much room on the table. The top in sewn on
afterwards. Hope this helps answers your question.

Your bread basket warmer is lovely! You say to use a 16 inch square but I do not understand how this allows the top to come up and over the top of the basket. Is the lid/top a separate square or is this all one piece and the lid folds up and over the top? Thanks for you help! I would love to try to make one for myself!

Top folds up and over, see additional photos, might makes it easier to understand,
Thanks

That is so lovely. Love the fact that it is washable also. Can think of other uses for this. Did you make a tutorial by any chance? Where did you get the basket design? Is the basket all one piece? I know - so many questions but I just love this.

Sorry no tutorial. The basket is all one piece simply cut a 16x16 inch square and round the corners.

Such a great project. It looks really nice and might not of thought to put the insul-bright in it to hold heat.

I did it also to give it some body otherwise it would be really limp. I have tried it and it works.
