Beautiful! Beautiful! You did a fantastic job!
This I call the "model" for Christmas,

Let's work together??
That would be my dream come true. I have always regretted not persuing my dream in interior decor and now I try to do what I can to make my home pretty and festive,
It would be like winning the lottery to get to work with you,

This is beautiful and you have done a great job with the display.

I have never seen anything like this. I had a thought that I would like to do a advent corner for my grandchildren. but a full village is so out of this world the detail is fantastic.
Michelle, You took my breath away! I would really like to see some closeup pictures! Is there a school? Who made the buildings?? I'd love to see the treehouse? Oh my goodness! It reminds me a little of all the Christmas Villages in every Christmas movies ever made - like in Funny Farm, and It's a Wonderful Life! I am soooo glad you shared it with us in photos! Please, would you also take some close up shots and post them too??? Pretty Please??? Jan
I absolutely LOVE miniatures! Did you know that some kids play "in miniature" while others prefer "full size" like dress up? I have always loved the tiny details of miniature!
Thank you for posting this darling village;
*4u!

Thank you Jacqueline,

WOW! Thats beautiful, it puts my little village to shame, lol! I keep going back and studying the pictures. I am awe struck. I would love to have one like this, but I have no room for something so big. My grandchildren stand on the sofa to look at mine I have in the bay window. Yes its that small, lol! You have given me lots of ideas though!!
:D
Thank you so much,
Mine measures 30 feet from one end to the other and about 3 feet deep. I have a big family room. My santa village upstairs is
in my bay window (is much smaller) above my
sofa. It is usually under my tree, but cannot work that this year (hip problem).Glad I could give you some ideas,
Hugs
Michelle
this year because of a hip problem. Should be finished by the weekend.

Oh WOW!!! That is really pretty!! How long did it take you to finish such a feat? I see that you worked over a period of years, but wow. That is absolutely breathtaking!!
When I was younger, my mom took me to visit her cousin. He showed us his train room. He had a whole family room that had been turned in to a whole village or scenery of trains, and had trains running all throughout his house. I had never seen anything so spectacular. Now I think you have outdone him! This is just awe inspiring. Good work!! Are you going to add trains to go through your towns and villages?? That would be a perfect combination. :)
Thank you so much that is quite a compliment.
This is my 14th year putting up villages. It now takes me 4-5 days to finish this one and 1/2 day to do my santa village (much smaller).
I do have a tramway in my lower town part of the village, will expend with more track next year.

MICHELLE
You have done a nice job of pulling it together. My village is in storage and I miss not being able to put it up. Was glad to see yours.
Michelle, this is stunning - so much work - you must be very pleased with it each year - if you rotate it and make it different. I can't wait to see the Santa Village - when you get it finished. It is beginning to look alot like Christmas!
Thank you Shirlene,
Hope your back is getting better.
Yep my house is beginning to look like christmas, should be finished this weekend.
Santa village is in works, much smaller but cute all the same.

WOW, I had started collecting but then moved and have no where to put them. But I must say it never looked that nice. Wonderful job.
Thank you,
Make smaller scene on coffee tables, in corners on window sills, smaller is very nice to, I think it is the accessories that make the differenc,

Michelle
What an awesome sight. Very well done. I don't have any village pieces, but then I don't have any place to put them. Cindy B.
so pretty. my daughter always put hers on the baby grand. The kids could reach it when they were small and recently she got rid of it so I wonder what she will use. I suppose you are using the fold tables. Kay
Thanks
I use folding tables, my forest scene (not in the pictures) is on top of my filing cabinet but everything is made to blend one into the other. Very important for me that things conncet.

Thes photos look wonderful. I can't wait to see you Santa village! Good job.
Working on that one now of course it is not as big but it still has it's own charm.
Thank you
Michelle
michelle this is just outstandidng congrats how many pieces have you ever counted them....soozie
Thanks soozie,
I have 68 buildings (had more but gave some away to a niece) plus accessories such as fountains, merry-go-round etc and I have about
500 small people and accessories. That does not include all the trees (probably about 100)
and bridges etc. Out of all, my favorite is my treehouse. I just love seeing people's eyes (young and old) light up when they see it.

Michelle
bridges, outbuilding. I have a forest scene I
made with mountains, water fall and river, ski slope and lots of other scenes. My favorite
piece is my tree house.

Thanks for sharing.
Truly spectacular! Wonderful! Merry Christmas hugs sally
Wow, truly amazing how much time and effort you have gone to. Imagine if we were to get you and Dilceia into the same place together, what you'd both come up with! Lovely!
Thank you,
She commented on my other pics I posted earlier this week and as I told her, what she does would be my dream job. I try to do what she does but on a smaller scale,

MICHELLE
Oh, my dear Marianne, I am flattered with your comment. Thank you!
It would be wonderful!
Miss you
very, very nice and thank you for the idea of batting and lights in back ground
I use chicken wire behind the batting to hold the lights and to make placement easier. I
usually have mountains that I made but threw them away last year planning to make new ones but alas,
Thank you for looking

This is absolutely stunning Michelle. I bet everyone can't wait to see your efforts from year to year. I just have lots of decorations put up around my home, but nothing like this. Congratulations love and blessings Chris
Thabnk you Chris,
This village is downstairs in my family room
I make another smaller one upstairs (Santa Village in white that I am working on now)
with my tree, mantel and all the rest. I usually have an open house in Nov. but with
health problems this year decided I was not up to it.

Beautiful, when I was a child my grandparents would make one in a corner. Boxes (covered in sheets of "cotton snow"gave the impression of a hillside. fir boughs would cover the top and our creche was at the top.We had a tiny train (not moving)and a tiny lake(mirror)so the skaters could skate. Thanks for the memory.
Your welcome,
It does bring us back. I was 7 or 8 when my GM took me to a craft fair and I can still see myself sitting at the end of a table where an elderly gentleman had made tiny houses. I was mesmerized and still am when I
finish my village
Hugs
Michelle
Wow.... WOW ... I would loose most my day just to look at it... Very Nice :)
Thank you,
I love to just sit and look at it with all the lights out. I imagine myself back in that time (victorian) and it brings me back to my childhood.
Hugs
Michelle
This is amazing what you have done. I have a few pieces (8 or 9)of the Dickens' Village from Hallmark but have never displayed it like yours.
I started out my first year with 8 pieces and now have about 65 not counting all the pieces I have made, ski slope, Santa photo stand,
nativity scene etc,. I used to put alot of time into it before but now seem to have less time (maybe because I started embroidery).
Thanks for commenting,

Wow!C'est du beau travail. HP est du même avis que moi.
WOW! I just wish I had an area to put up my village - maybe someday, when I have Great Grands to decorate for. LOL
I wish I had more room, there is alot of stuff I have not put up this year because I
haven't the room. I am expecting 16 or 18 for supper and we will be eating surrounded by the village. Can't wait.
Thank you
It really makes the heart feel good - a real display of love Thank you for this beautiful display in a world with so much sadnes
Thank you Jillian,
Glad it touched your heart, I love the reaction it has on everyone, that is why I do it year after year, for myself but also for others to enjoy,
