Yes round one put a plate on cloth , cut out two pieces then long strip and added zipp and Tule Flower I made

I wonder if this could be done for a kitchen rug and then weave the pieces for sturdiness. Oh me thinking again. LOL

Yes U could do a rug this way, will use quite a lot of washline, but U could use up all your scrap pieces of material. I cut them about an inch wide, some people just tear them , it takes forever to do this but U can do some everyday like I did.

I dont know how U would weave this, but U could sew a close zigzag, that would make it quite sturdy???
