Does anyone have any good hints for embroidering on satin? I am doing pillowcases and mine pucker.I have tried all kinds of stabilizers, sticky, wss, heavy tearaway. What should the density be? I know there are videos, but speakers are out and I cannot seem to find the problem. Am doing a 3 letter monogram with swirls on each side so should not be such a problem!! Thanking you in advance--Marietta

I really haven't stitched on satin - but would like to know the tips and tricks, too.

I thin a fine sharp-not universal needle will help.
Also if you can slow down the speed on your machine that sometimes helps.

I dip my satin in liquid vilene. just grab a handful of scrap wss and put in warm water - should be gooey! no too gooey - I do this part outside - soak satin in solution and hang drip dry, then it will have enough umph to stitch on! works great for me. This method is used for organza! I do it for all problem fabrics! Live Laugh Download Stitch! christine

I have used light tear away stablizer on top. It worked for me.

Marietta, I use an iron on stabilizer and a tear away in the hoop and a fine needle(11) sharp. It works well for me, but I am sure some of these clever ladies might have a better idea. I hope this will be of help to you.****
