I've chatted with several people who are having a bit of difficulty with the instructions on padded applique such as the coasters that Katulle has been posting. I found a step by step picture tutorial, which might help answer the questions that you are having regarding those designs. Now you can try it with confidence. :)

Thank you .I found that some of Katulles photos were a bit too small for me to see clearly , otherwise I had no problems with her instuctions
