I'm no sure if I understood you correct, but Nowadays we have Windows 7, before this Vista, and before that Windows XP. Now if you bought a software for Vista, it can be it doesn't run properly on Windows XP. What kind of software do you use ? Did you check on the internet if it runs with XP ?

If it says not 32 bit, check & see if you are now in 64 bit and that will not work with 32 bit files. When I got my new computer, I had to chamge everything to 64 bit. Hope you get it figured out soon. Hugs & Merry Christmas, Judy
