At the echidna convention earlier this year the ladies from sewing revolution spoke about a pen that disappears if you iron on it. I finally got around to looking for these pens. I got them from Big W. They are brilliant, you can really clearly mark you placement position then when you are finished the embroidery just it it with the iron and the mark is gone. I got 3 different colours. The mark won't come back unless you cool it to -20 degrees celcius. I think this is a must in and embroidery tool kit.

Have a disappearing marker that evaporates over several hours that's called Air Erasable Vanishing Pen/Marker. It has no company name on it only remember my girlfriends sister who is an artist gave it to me and it is in a silver case. Also, picked up children's water markers in different colors that can blend into the fabric better.

A version of this has been available for years for quilting. It was a purple disappearing pen. Then sometimes it would not fade out, so quilters pretty much abandoned it. Hopefully, this is an improved version of this pen.

I was having problems with the purple pen not fading. I also had trouble getting the white fabric marker off, and Tailors chalk comes right back when the fabric dries. This pen is brilliant. it is gone when you iron it.
