Hi Meg, just finished the cookies for the kids. I've done everything else and just have to bake the ham tomorrow. I have a huge Turkey Buffe in Mum's fridge and I'll collect her tonight for midnight mass. I'm singing O Holy Night and then home to rest. I'm buggered I pruned all Mum's roses today with a hedge trimmer. My poor arms! Have a great day tomorrow. Love Chris

Beaugtifully and simply stated, I agree the world is a wonderful place, if we just take the time to look, and sometimes it takes christmas to remind ourselves to slow down, enjoy the moment and let the child within us be seen more. Merry Christmas Meganne and Ray, hugs Ruth
Glad tidings to you and all of your kin! Wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! christine
All you need is snow to make that perfect. Enjoy your next shopping day. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Sounds like a wonderful time Meganne, here's to many more like it and I agree with you on seeing the Christmas decorations, I am like a kid driving around looking at houses and I want my tree lights on just because they make me happy! Have a wonderful Christmas and a healthy fantastic 2012!

The only shopping I did was looking for Best Buy gift cards for our sons and their ladies to give to my youngest brother. Everything else is money except for I beaded bracelets for my Mom, no gifts allowed anymore by Father's orders but I always have something to slip Mom, even if it is just an embroidered kitchen towel, I think Dad understands.
Merry Christmas Meganne and family. Thanks for sharing your story. You could be an author of short stories. As Shirlene put it, you do paint a very pretty picture. Betty
Meganne Merry Christmas to you and Ray. Gad to hear Tidgy is doing OK .I 'm glad you had a chance to go enjoy the display's. I like to see the and hear all the pretty displays people put on the houses. The malls I visit almost at closing so no crowds. just love the way everything looks. I do wish you the very best in 2012. Love, Stella
Oh my - what a picture you do paint - I would love to go into one of those stores, too. However - I don't really do much shopping - except on the internet for designs - Hehehe! You night and fun with Ray sounds like heaven - Rick hasn't been out of the house in months - I can't even get him in the car - these days - just a drive with him - might be fun.
Enjoy the trip back to the store and have the most pleasant and Merry Christmas ever - you deserve it.
Sounds like a wonderful evening Meganne...Just want to be sure and wish you and Ray a very Merry Christmas and nothing but the very best for 2012...big hugs Glenda x0x0x0 Here in Canada (Ontario where I am at my son's) no snow, cold but sunny, looks like a green Christmas...
And right back to you my dear friend, I hope you have a joy filled Christmas and a fabulous 2012.
I'm sitting here under the fan and thinking how much I would love to have another white Christmas in the States.
One day I'd love to show Ray how wonderful it is there, I'll keep buying lottery tickets:-) hugs n love, Meg
