Beautiful! I would never guessed that you had any problems on this! You did a great job!
Beautiful! Looks good to me! Wouldn't know you had had any trouble!
Everyone is right, it is beautifully designed. You definitely have an eye for it. I would have loved it if I had gotten it!
Sometime on my ruffles I do a roll hem along the outside edge they turn out nice and are quick to do and not as heavy to gather when you add lace and all the rest to the fabric of the pillow when it is not very heavy sometimes it will pucker the edges of your pillow also I use 2 layers of wash away kind of stablizer put like a cross if you fabric has some polyseter in it iw ill not embroidery nice no matter what you use.
It is very pretty, Thanks for sharing! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
Beautiful! She must be a special MIL! I have found using the iron on tear away (feels like butcher paper) has helped my puckering some. Still use the other stabilizer also.
It looks lovely to me. Could also try adding a layer of water soluble stabiliser over the top and basting around the inside of the hoop before you do the embroidery design if you like. That might keep it a little more firm. Or use shelf liner scraps between fabric and hoop on all sides to stop any fabric pulling in. You're harder on yourself than your MIL will be, though. I love those little loops of ribbon coming out of the lace at the sides. Nice touch. Very well done project. Thanks for showing us all.
Thank you for the tips, I will try them on the rest of the fabric, they had a sale at the local store, It was only £1 per metre, so I had it all.
This is a very lovely pillow - the only thing I would think that you might need to do - on another pillow with the same material would be to use a heavier stabilizer for the density of the design you used. You have a great eye for detail and I can see why your MIL loved receiving this pillow.
Thank you for tips, The stablizer is thick but I think it is not very good, I whent for cheep off of Ebay. Not recomended.
