Lilian this is stunning. I want to follow your example. I have 5 quilts that I have to put together and I want to do free hand motion as well.
There is a lot of work in this quilt. I'm willing to bet a lot of love too. Nice....
Beautiful work, Lillian. I can see why your grandson is so proud of it :)
Beautiful!!! I am atempting to make my first quilt. I am piecing it now. I want to quilt it on my machine but I am unsure if I should undertake such a project. Was yours quilted on a quilting machine?
This is so cute. Did you quilt it to? Great job. Thanks for sharing
Twee I quilted it freehand on the embroidery machine. You put the feed dogs down then move the quilt around while it's stitching using both hands to guide it around. Thank you/Lillian
This is gorgeous - I'm sure he'll love it forever!
The quilt is lovely, Lilian. You did a great job!
Lillian you did a great job on this wuilt, lots of hours wnt into this one.
True, but hrs well spent Iris. To see how proud he was of it was worth every finger prick & yes there are a few drops of blood on it, but very small ones.
Oh, I love this one - my girls have Sunbonnet Sue quilts my mother made them each when they turned two.
Lillian, you have been busy. I'm sure Caleb is going to treasure this quilt. Hugs Yvonne
