These are absolutely beautiful! What a great job and I'm sure your friends loved them.
Just darling -my MIL did some of these before she passed away, and we have ours in the hutch.
Thank you everyone for your nice comments. Shirlene I did wonder about using WSS scraps but didn't know water ratio to use with the water. I ended up running out of time to experiment. Lyn did let me know that she has sent the pattern onto those that wanted it. Thanks again Lyn.
I know your friends will cherish these beautiful angels. Great work!
They are gorgeous I think I have made hundreds of these back before my embroidery machine days. One yr I had a Christmas tree with nothing but glass angels and these. It was a beautiful tree. I still have many of these but havent gotten them out the past couple of yr./Lillian

loveeeeeeeeee these i to have made these wee angels .Yours are excellent ,lol i should know i made at least 100 lol hugs carolyn
So lovely, such beautiful work!, I´ve made some some years ago and they are still hanging on my tree every year!
This is so lovely - I have made one like that for many years ago and did give it away.
Chris, these are adorable - so nice to have something that is still hand crochet, is the head also crochet?
I love this pattern. When I stiffened mine I uses sugar and water half and half (same amount of sugar to the same amount of water). Just be careful of ants. I put mine on the mantle piece and the ants came through a window and worked their way around the walls to the angels a few rooms away.
Yes I have used the sugar & water method before but I was afraid of ants being tempted.
Why don't you try the WSS scraps and water? If you need little scrap pieces - I will be glad to send you some. Hehehe!
Shirlene, I made these lopng before I had my machine and had no idea about WSS, but what a great idea. Thanks
