Do you cuties use a WSS on top of the tea towels from WalMart? They are woven & sorta in squares. For the life of me, I can't remember what the type of towel is called!! Senior moment, I guess!! Tks!

Waffle weave and yes I use WSS on top. they do shrink a good bit if they are 100% cotton. I wash and dry before stitching.

That's it, waffle weave. And it is sorta redwk..one of the designs from Buy Stitch that's 3 little chicks on a ladder. Chicks & flowers are filled, but the rest is rdwk. I did use WSS on the one I've done so far...but have 11 more to do! Tks.

Please wash first. I had one shrink 4 inches in length. Better before stitching
than afterwards. Maureen

If it is Waffle weave, yes I do use WSS on top, most of the tea towels that we get here I use WSS. If I do a redwork design I also use the heavy WSS on the bottom. Hugs Yvonne
