when do the fireworks start - what time is it now? It is 12:15 in the afternoon here.

It will start about 23:30PM and will continue in an hour till 00:30AM the New Years night - now the time here is 21:35 in the evening

You are 7 hours after Icelandic time, so you have to start watching the firework at 16:30 in the afternoon - if you want to see it :-))
