Welcome to the Cute Family . Age doesn't make any difference. I started sewing when I was 9 and has been a Love ever since. Good Luck on getting your new machine. Nancy
Take 'age' from the equation and what do you have???? .........
A group of fun-loving, helpful, friendly, tolerant, knowledgeable, generous, sometimes naughty, always nice, ageless machine embroiderers.
We'll all be waiting to see what you make posted in Projects so we can share in your sense of pride and achievement.
Oh, yes, and have you worked out all the Aussies yet???
AlmaG.
Welcome to Cute. I must say you are smarter than I ever was at 14,Computers, embroidery machines etc. We(meaning myself) are very young at heart even though my hair is white. You will soon become a source of envy when you show off your projects.
Age is no barrier! We all have a common interest in embroidery! Welcome to cute!
Welcome! Age doesn't matter when you are interested in the same thing. There is no age limit to asking questions and there is someone around 24/7 from around the world to answer questions and offer options so if you post a question give it some time for an answer as we are in many different time zones.
Welcome, like many cuties say there are no age limit, we are all 14 !!!!! LOL
You will find that some things have no 'age gap'. Sewing and crafts and friendships fall into this category. Welcome
You will be so good at embroidery by the time you have a family of your own to stitch for. Wonderful that you are starting early.
I started sewing at about 9. How I wish there had been embroidery machines then. I consider myself fortunate to have been around long enough to have one of these wonderful machines.
You are definitely among friends here. Welcome!!
Marcelle
Good luck in purchasing that machine. You will love the results. It is a great craft. It will be a plus to start so young!
Welcome to you. BTW we are all young at heart no matter our age!! Hope you are able to get your machine soon, holding thumbs for you. Have fun learning tips and collecting your first embroidery designs here.
I hope there are more young people on here, embroidery is fun and amazing and the clothes you can decorate are one of a kind. Hope you hang around for many years to come! Welcome to the best site around!
Debra
It isn't so bad if you are the nestling here on Cute ;o)
I think it is wonderful that you start so early with collecting informations about embroidery. I have to admit that first I hate crafting at school; later on I was a big knitter (there was a time in the 80's when everybody in Germany was knitting even the policticians in the parliament :o).
So I hope you will stay and get as much information as you can get...
Greetings and a happy new year
Bettina
We ae so glad you are here. I wish I could have started when I was 14.
Cuties know no age! Everyone is 14 at heart and Cudos to you for understanding the wonders if this great art at "your" age! What machine do you have, and what are your favorite designs to embroider, and what do you like to to embroider on the best...your clothes, perhaps? You'll love it here!
uhmm well im saving up for a brother PE700II but other than that I only have a regular sewing machine x)
Regular sewing machines can do just about all that the newer ones can, it just takes a little longer. Free motion embroidery, applique and quilting, etc. have been around for over 30 years. Give one of those a try while awaiting your great new machine. Best of luck and welcome aboard.
Hello and welcome. I guess we are all all 14 years old here and then some!! What a joy to have you in join us. Happy new year to you. Love Christine, Johannesburg South Africa
You are going to be so good at embroidery. This is a fun sie for any age.
