No but I have used the PR 150/180 machines and they are excellent. I see elsewhere Raelene has asked which continent are you in. I know the dealer I have bought both my machines from has excellent second hand embroidery machines for sale which come with a guarentee. These are machines owners have used in part exchange for newer bigger ones. Some dealers also give discount for students. Are you taught D&T (Design Technology) in school, do you have embroidery machines in school?

I have A Brother Innovis 1500.
It is a lovely machine and I am enjoying it for the past three years. The sewing functions are super too.With the big Quilting Table I am qulting with ease.
I also use PE Design for digitizing and embroidery.The hoop sizes go up to a 10x6 which suit me fine.

hey I have a innovis 1500 too ! Nice to know. (but I'm still a beginner and needs to learn a lot..)

I have a singer so I cant help there.

Hehe I have one brother but he does not sew...
