I have been a very busy beaver the past two months making gifts for the family. Since retirement. I'm trying to cut back our spending. So gifts were simpler, less costly, and many home made. I'll share a few over the next little while.

Really like the scarf and how it is fringe at the ends. Your watercolor picture is beautiful. Did you use it as a Christmas greeting card?

Your projects look great and I do enjoy hand made stuff -so much more personal. Perhaps you can load them into projects as well, now your brain *is* awake? I can understand that you wanna be nice to your hubby but the next christmas is far away so why not being a little naughty? *lol* NO! It's very kind that he plays the model...
Hope your garden is growing this year. Just kep on posting and chatting :-)
You can post your selfmade gifts in "projects" and I'm sure you get a lot of flowers. This night the people are busy with celebrating 2012 *lol*

your right, I should have posted in projects, guess I'm being brain dead tonight. Your right about the celbrating. Hubby and I went to dinner w friends, then I stopped at my daughters and played games with the GK. DH wasn't up to that, sometimes he is a bit reclusive.

I'm curious too about your other paintings. How wonderful to be so talented! My first reaction was 'ooh'! I would love to have a well developed color sense and to be able to draw or paint. Lucky you!

Here is a scarf I made for my oldest granddaughter, Madi. Hubby is the model. He threatened me with my life if I showed his face. It was tempting, but I decided to be nice.

Also, I am a wanna be artist. Here is the Christmas watercolor I painted this year. Next year (2012) I want to put together a family calendar. It will go into the calendar for Dec, along with some of my grandchildrens's art.
