Gerry, this is stunning and I am sure the family will talk about who gets it - in the end - thank you for sharing so much info on the designs and especially on the where to purchase the skirt.
Absolutely gorgeous...I can only imagine how long this took, with the colour changes. Definitely a heirloom piece...wonderful job!

Your tree skirt is lovely! I collect Partridge's in
a Pear Tree. I have made a wall hanging with the 12
days. Not this pattern. The pattern is available, but again not in the ART3 format. The skirt is also
available and on sale. This design goes very nicely
with the battenberg skirt. You did great!olds/Maureen
Here is the website for Buzz Tools...these designs are still available free under Holidays and there are lots more...thank you!
this is just beautiful! I have never finished a tree skirt. You did a fantastic job!
Answers to some questions below: I got the skirt at embroiderthis couple years ago, but they still have it. Just type in tree skirt in the search box. Would love to take credit for thinking up the 12 days on the scallops, but that really was their idea! The files are still on Buzz tools site, I think. They were free. Stitched out pretty good. Some places I went back & redid the outline stitching as I like it to go around twice & some places it was just once. But love how it looks around the tree. Tks for the comments!
This is stunning - did you make the skirt, or was it a purchased one?
Excellent! Look what you can do with, it looks like to me, a round battenburg table skirt. So lucky, it had 12 scallops, for each of your designs. Very good work-Toogie
Very nice and what a nice idea to use the 12 days of christmas. I NEED to make one of these for my tree, has been on my list for a couple of years now, maybe I should start now and it will get done for 2012 LOL

Wow, this is beautiful. I have the same designs and always wanted to sew these out for my aunt. She would really love this. Where did you find the white tree skirt? Excellent work!! Denise
