I do it a little differently in XP because most of the time a zipped file will have other embroidery formats I won't need so instead of right-clicking -> extract all, I do right-click -> explore (which opens the file to view the contents, or you can usually just double-left click the file to open the zip), then I drag the .pes files out and into another folder. :) xXx
I have Windows 7 and to unzip files I just double-click on the filename in Explorer. If your embroidery software is Embird, just click the zipped file and it will open the files. Hugs, Lidia
Wow! I have XP but you can unzip the same way right click and extract all...just tried...learn something everyday here on cute...hugs Sally
Sure glad you ask that question! I do have WinZip, however I didn't know you could unzip like the gals told us! And it is faster! My goodness, you can learn all sorts of things on this site!! Tks!
Yep, Windows 7 has a zip file extraction feature built in. No need to worry about WinZip anymore!
Right click - 'Extract All' - 'Extract' button on pop up dialog box. Easy as it can be.
Thank you. This is such a wonderful site. You Cuties are so helpful. Thanks again.
Just right click and select extract all. Should do the trick!! Good luck!!
