This design was one of my first from Stitch Delight. It looks beautiful done in the colours you've chosen.
Little crinoline ladies similar to these, but hand-crocheted, were once used to decorate the bottom of those little hostess waist aprons.
You've made a lovely set here.

I also bought the design that looks like one of those crochet Crinoline dolls on aprons , I must give that one a try.
