I made this vase of panseys a few years ago , they are done by sewing the flowers and leaves over a layer of organza and a layer of washaway,after they and all been embroidered you trim the fabric close to the embroidery then wash out washaway.I embroidered the vase , but you could make a bunch of flowers using a stem embroidery, I know there is one that come with my Janome disc.Then the fun begins arranging them.

Such a lovely work of art - is there a way to take a closer picture - when I click on it - it only give me the same size.
