BEAUTIFUL STORY, SO SAD SHE DIED SO YOUNG BUT HER FAMILY AND COUNTRY MUST HAVE BE VERY PROUND OF HER TO BE RECOGNISED IN THIS WAY. I LOVE PINK. THANK YOU FOR SHARING. HUGS
What a wonderful gesture on his side and he looks so handsome. Wonderful people have a way to make everyone happy, ***even after they are no longer there.
I think he should wear pink more often!! The other picture of the grandstand with the pink flag coming down would have been awesome to see. Thanks for sharing.
good on you aussies for another aussie...soozie
It was great to see everyone in pink. Jane McGrath was a special person and was called away so young.
What a great honor to her - Brett looks great in all pink. Thank you Lyn for sharing this - it is so special to know there is so much support. Amazing.
That is a beautiful grandstand and remembrance of her wonderful work. I think Brett Lee wears pink handsomely.
The sweeping views of the stands in between the cricket action made for some stunningly pretty scenes with all the pink in the crowds.
Glenn and Jane created a wonderful foundation six years before Jane's death ............
In 2002 the McGraths founded the McGrath Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to raising money to fund more Breast Care Nurses in rural and regional Australia and educate young women to become 'breast aware'. Glenn has continued the work of Jane in her memory. The foundation has so far raised over $12 million[21] and as at the start of 2012 currently has 68 Breast Care Nurses with another 3 positions funded and awaiting placement.... I miss the excitement of watching Glenn bowl but the new lads coming on are producing some riveting moments and they are proving that they can bat as well.

Wasn't it great Lyn? I've added a picture of the grandstand with the pink flag coming down. Onya Aussies! Well done to all the cricket team and congratulations to the Indian team too. Love Chris
Wowwwwwwwwww what a handsome young man ,he would do his Mother proud:):)carolyn
He apparently is a really nice guy. Sadly he doesn't play in the A team very much any more. Think he is a little worried that the pink will not wash out for a week or so.
