Wish you had all given a clue where you lived, I find it very interesting hearing about your home land, but please tell us newish cuties where you it is you come from.
Hugs Pam.
Great idea Pam - most that have posted - will not be back - but I love that idea, that we say - where we are from - where are you from?
I live in Riverdale, UT - USA.
I agree with you Shirlene...please snow!We usually have lots by now,but the ground is bare and it has been above 0 celcius for quite some time! If we don't get snow it means a dry summer/fall and that usually means forest fires!A few years back we had some evacuation alerts very close to our home.Fire scares me a lot!! Enough said! Let it snow!
Hugs, Nadyne
Oh Nadyne, I don't like the idea of fires, either. We need the moisture - I know last year - it didn't snow until late and we had plenty as the year ended - winter went right into fall - almost.
And there were lost of run offs and floods - in the North & South East of US - which was so hard - because there were fires and drought in other places that needed the moisture.
Its because the artic jet stream was flowing into Southern California during November and most of December with record cold temps and rain on and off since almost Halloween. Last couple weeks we've been in 80s and 90s and absolutely gorgeous for the Rose Parade. Today hi 60s and low 40s but no rain.
Linda, you are amazing - are you a weather girl? Yes, gorgeous Rose Parade weather.
LOL
Lust got tired of freezing in Southern
California and looked it up. Had the heat on in November-extremely weird.
Okay now really laughing-meant Just not Lust-jeepers. My hand are tired from sewing the dolls hair and I keep hitting the wrong keys.
Well we got lots of the stuff snowing since c/mas
Poor wee Peeko can't get to his pea poles now as there is to much snow lol he tries but gets stuck in the drifts, lol now hes just using the side of the banks, thank goodness he was crying waiting for Momma to climb over the bank and rescue him lol carolyn
Well - you are way up north and that is expected for you. We usually have snow from Halloween on - but not this year.
How wonderful for you Shirlene, can't live without water.
I just went outside to let the dog out (4:00 AM) and was surprised at how darn cold it is. This is really unusual considering this is our middle month of summer, normally we'd need the fans going just to get to sleep.
Sure is some crazy weather our world is having!
Well, I'm off to bed to cuddle up and get warm. :-)
Have a great noght and be warm - we are having some really strnge weather around the world. That is for sure.
We haven;t had snow here in MN. just a dusting. too warm. We need moisture here. Stay warm and cozy damaris
Dee - I don't plan on going out in it - if I get out of it - Hehehe! I like looking at it - but not being in it. I hope you get some mositure, too.
Well - we had the cold weather, but no snow. Nicole was hoping for snow when our temps hit 29 degrees when she was spending the night with us. It was too dry, so she did not get to see it. Just cold weather. We are not used to that, and a lot of us do not have the clothing we need to be out in it. Stay warm, and enjoy that white fluffy stuff.
Oh - too bad you didn't get it for Nicole - but then - I am glad you didn't - I can't imagine you going to work in anything but warm weather gear. Hehehe!
Unbelievable warm weather here in southern Spain an no rain, much needed, Rained when our son was here bad luck. good for holiday makers, but bad for our water suply and gardens etc.
glad to hear that you have got some snow, what will turn to water.
Oh no - no rain is Spain - I hope you get some for your water supply and gardens - that is why we need it here, too. We count so much on the snow and rain to get us through the summer months.
It has been a strange weather year, yesterday here in Texas we has 71 degrees. Now looking for light snow on Monday or Tuesday. We did have snow flurries on christmas eve but no rain or anything wet since. The drought continues.
Bev
Bev, it really has been a strnge weather year - we were in the upper 50's yesterday - but it was cold inspite of the sun - a chill that went to the bones - so I almost figured we would be getting some snow.
I will sent you some of ours. lol The students first couple days back to school after the holidays were cancelled because of snow. Will pray for your area to get some kind of precipitation. Remember when we were under a drought situation and put on restrictions.
I htink it is unbelievable - that NC would have snow and UT would not. Luckily for the ski resort - it is much higher and they can make snow - if they need it. But even the snow moblile people have been complaining - not having a place to run. Hehehe!
no snow here, just LOTS of rain now, November was much to dry.
