This angel is so exquisite and elegant! The most beautiful I have ever seen!
Beautiful angel Shirlene. Very tastefully done. Hugs and blessings. Rachel
I never get tired to look at this beautiful angel. I bought this design but haven't stitched it yet.
Hugs, Lidia
I bought this pattern when it was on special a while ago and have never used it...now I see how lovely it is ...well done!
What a beautiful job...thank you for sharing. I went to her list and tried to download the free candlewicking she offers when you join the list but her checkout didn't work...pout...thank you again for sharing.
Your angel is absolutely beautiful. One of the nicest designs I have seen!
Wow, isn't that the fanciest angel- love the embellishments. I could see this with gold and silver for a Christmas gift as well :-)
Beautiful you do such pretty work I love this little angsl
Lenamae
Oh! Sherlene this is just beautiful. I love her and I love the ribbon and bling touches. Hugs Joyce
Just beautiful!! You did a great job with the added ribbons and crystals. Well done.
Shirlene, I can truly say this is the most beautiful angel I have ever seen. I love angels but I can't afford the price of her so will enjoy yours.
Hugs Joann
Gorgeous Shirlene. I need to get one stitched out. Was it difficult to put together?
Donna
Shirlene, this is magnificent! You have done a great, great job!!!! Congratulations! Hugs, Lidia
Lidia, thank you so very much - it means alot to each of you say you like this.
I kind of like it, which is good cause it is MINE! Whoo Hoo! I can brag since everyone has already posted... thank you shirlene, I so appreciate your talent and your friendship!
Christine, you are so funny - you could have shared that - in the beginning - if you wanted - Hehehe! I am thrilled you like her and I appreciate your talent and friendship, too. Whoo Hoo!
Just beautiful Shirlene. I just looked up the design and it is on sale for $19.95 for anyone that wants to purchase.
Mildred, thank you dear - it is on sale and it might not be for long - thank you for checking.
Its beautiful, Shirlene. Its as much fun to embellish as it is to do the fsl designs... at least it is for me.
I just spoke with Lindee and she said that a Professional Embroider would charge $250 for this angel mde up and with the additional embellishments you could get more. WOW!
What a super piece !
thankyou - I do believe it is one of the lovelist embroidery pieces that I have.
Very pretty and is different than many other 3D FSL Angels!
Lovely work Shirlene!
Did you use the 30 weight in the Super Twist and a 14 needle as they suggest on the Madeira website?
Can you give me an idea of what the price is of the thread is in the large cone size?
All your Angels turned out lovely!
EastWitch2
Thank you EastWitch2, I do appreicate that you like it.
Yes, it is the 30 weight in the Super Twist and I actually used a 16 needle or denim needle - as I felt that my thread broke too often without it.
I am sure you can just click on the cone and find out the cost - but I do believe it is $29 - or there about.
I do thank you for enjoying the angels.
I'm glad I bought the angel and now time to make her. What you did with the cristals is lovely. I bought them last year and forgot about it so in a while I have to try it all. Thanks for the lovely Idear
I hope you make her and enjoy embellishing with your crystals, too. You are welcome.
love her it is a her lol :):)you always do lovely work hugs carolyn
Stunning, great work just love it. How hard is it to do the crytals I got one for Christmas but have not tried it yet?
Jenne, thank you very much - crystals are not hard to do - you just warm the gun up - like an iron - get the crystal where you want it - place the gun on the crystal and wait from 15-20 seconds or so - it should be secure and off to the next one.
This one is lovely too. I love the way the thread glimmers but I guess the photo doesn't do it justice. Nice work.
Chris, thank you - no matter how nice an item looks in a photo - embroidery work and the loveliness of the colors and the thread glimmering - just never shows up - like it does in person. Thanks so much.
I like the shape of her wings! You do such nice work.
Debra, thank you so very much - I do appreciate it. Isn't it great how each digitizer sees angels differently?
These tree toppers are so beautiful.
Sally, thank you - this one is sitting in a cabinet - more than likely it will not see a tree - Hehehe!
Absolutely stunning girl!! What a beautiful angel and your added ribbon and beading touch is perfect.
Beautiful.....you could do these with the crystals to match a birth month gem.;)
Beautiful Shirlene - all your Angels are sooo lovely.
You keep making them more beautiful each time, can't decide which one is prettier...great job!!!
thank yo so very much - they start to speak to me and tell me what they want to look like - I guess - Hehehe!
She's gorgeous and well worth the price! Very unique and beautifully stitched...as always.
Thanks for sharing this beauty with us!!
Hugs!!
Mary Ann, she is a beauty and very well digitized. Thank you dear - I do appreciate it.
Absolutely gorgeous. I love the colors on her. Well done Shirlene :)
Charlotte, thank you very much - I really do appreciate it. At first, I wasn't sure of the colors - but as I got the ribbons and the crystals ready - I knew it would work - I am pleased with how she turned out.
Gorgeous. That is a pretty thread you used and a touch of crystals give it a nice finished look. Does this require a large/mega hoop?
Anita, thank you very much - it doesn't require a large/megaa hoop - but it helps if yo have one - she has the design for the larger and 5x7 hoop. It just makes it easier to have the designs combined, if you ask me.
I can do 5X7 and it's a toss up between saving for Embird or a mega hoop. lol
This is a better link - the price has gone up - since I got her - am I ever grateful I got it when it was lower - but it is still worth the sale price that she has on it. This embroidered lace is very lovely - you cannot tell from any of these pictures - how truly lovely it is.
Collection includes designs and instructions to complete the angel. Includes versions for 5x7 hoops and 200x300mm hoops.
All of these are absolutely georgeous, where they hard to put together
Thak you dear - as far as putting this one together - the head and wings were stiched together in the hoop - they are resting on the skirt - with two little bars that hang down and I inserted them in a couple holes in the skirt - the skirt itself is also stitch in the hoop - with all these buttons that run on two side of it - the you interlock together to close it up - after of coarse stiching up the smaller portion of the skirt for the waistline - that part you just do on your machine. The work - might have come - in the waiting for it all to be stitched out - to do it in the bigger hoop - you have to have a 7.75 x 11.75 hoop or you will have to stitch each skirt panel - one by one and attach them - as you go. Go to the website and have a look. http://lindeegembroidery.com/
Oh my she is very beautiful. I like how you added the cystals and ribbons. I may have to borrow your idea for my next angel too. Thanks for sharing, i will be checking out lindeegembroidery after i look through more cuties projects.
Denise, thank you so much - I know you will get creative with your next one, too. I hope you pick up this one - while it is on sale - the price will be going up soon.
She is beautiful! I love the drape of the skirt! Great job!
This is beautiful, and you have done a great job.
Beth, thank you. I posted it on Lindee's FB and there were a few comments on it - she loved it - because it wasn't done in the usual colors.
beautiful Shirlene, just beautiful. Love what you added to the angel. are you selling these? Betty
Betty, thank you dear - I am selling them, this one went out and is now display in a china cabinet in CO.
Stunning, beautiful, I love the way you have added the extra embellishements. How long did it take to stitch this angel out. Right now this is off the list of embroideries to do what is the next?
Caroline, thank you so very much - I didn't realize that it was - but I know why - that is how I felt - when I saw her - I wanted to do it NEXT. The top which is the head and wings took about 2 1/2 hours - the skirt took almost 4 hours and then doing all the rinsing, drying, staging, emblishment another couple hours. Expect to spend some time with this project - but it is so worth it.
Here are the links that didn't show up in the original posting:
Waaaauw Shirlener it is just fantastic. I use Madeira, but not heard of that thread will look out for it.Love the bits you added made it exta special
Oh my - I did put the links - but they didn't show - let me do that now - thank you Edith.
