Those are pretty cool, but at the moment beyond my budget. I have bookmarked them for future :) Thanks
I got a great tip from sewforum, check out stitchery mall, pegboard crafts- go to pg 5
They have two free garages one is 4x4, other 5x7.
I think I can adapt this to look like a firehouse.
Thanks for all your help
Ruthanne at Tucker's Treasures has a very nice and affordable one, which also includes 3 other designs.

Thanks, but it didnt quite grab me. The applique garage has alot of character and free! Yippee for me. Thanks for searching. Cuties are the bestest!!
Hi, I did a whole bunch of roads and mountains, bridges, and buildings for a memory quilt last year. There were filled designs. I can't do it now, but if you can wait till Wednesday I can make one with a firestation. Just pm me if you need for me to do that. I need to know what format you need, and I'm guessing you need 4x4 size....? Hope that helps... Jan
IF you do a search for memory quilt, I think you will find the designs, so you can see what I'm talking about..... seems like they would work on a playmat.
I will try the search, if I can locate where....still fumbling on the new layout.
Thanks again, I will post my project once completed :)
We had a whole set of roads and curves and scenic sites posted last year. It was either here or at Sew Forum. Come on gals and guys, put your memory chips in and see if there was a fire station! Linda
I do have the roads, but I really didnt want a filled stitched road, so I took a jersey cotton material, and cut out roads, that all connect to each other. I will post once Ive completed the playmat.

Sounds like a wonderful playmat. If I think of one I will come back and post.
