I use self-adhesive, tear-away stabilizer from sulky, item no. 551-08. That is all I have ever used on all my projects. With WSS on top.
Put your stabilizer in your hoop. Make an X with something sharp but don’t go all the way through it. Peel back the paper and tear it off. I like to make a line up and down with a pencil so I will have true center. Put your hat down then put your WSS I use 2 layers on top and have fun. Hope this helps. If you anymore questions just let me know.
I just make sure not to stretch what you are working on. I just got and one tryed it if it didn't work that is okay. That is the way that I have found out to do things. DeVon
Sorry but this has been a really bad week so far. Hope it helps. Let me know if you need any more help. DeVon
I didn't see this until today. Got home at 745 and had to go to bed at 830. Sorry.
Thank you, thank you, didn't expect and answer last night it was late. And besides I don't get on computer until around 7 at night. will try I have self-adhesive tear-away. Didn't think about using 2 layers of WSS on top. did only one. Like I told ramona your hats are FANTASTIC !!!!. you do wonderful work. Thanks againe and have a wonderful day. Hugs and flowers to all.
I would think cut-a-way would be a better choice on the bottom but maybe devon will get back to us.
I've seen all her hats and think they are great! Would like to know this answer too.
Yes, her hats are fantastic!!! So thought I would single her out to have the right answer. But lots of people have great suggestions. Guess its what ever works for you. thanks and hugs
I cannot help you with your question, but to send a PM, just go to the Public page and where it says "Private" Click on that & put devon in the spot and type in your message. Hope I explained that correctly. Hugs, Judy
Thanks Grambear I'll write that down and maybe use it some day. Have a nice day.
