Shirlene, she is stunning. Well done the rose looks great on her. Hugs Yvonne
Sew beautiful. My mother in law used to be a collector of angels. They were everywhere in her home. They brought such peace when she was going through those hard times of life. Nice job.
Thank you - angels to have a way of doing that - don't they.
I remember sharing a little angel with a elderly lady a year ago - she said that she collected angels and then she laughed and said, "May husband thinks he was my 1st Angel, too!"
She really does look stunning, Shirlene. And thank goodness we can do other things while our machines sew, because that'd be a whole lot of time we'd need to sit still otherwise!
Mariann, thank you dear - oh - I never would be able to be that tied down - Hehehe!
Wow, it's lovely. All those stitches must have taken you ages to do. Very nice and I do hope you get lots of orders. Hugs
Thank you so very much - orders are rather slow at coming in - over the year and a half - I have had 20 orders. Not very profitable or productive for me.

gorgeous!
Thankyou Christine - she looks a bit different than the PASTEL one - doesn't she?
Just beautiful. Lots of stitches but well worth it. The extras you have added set it off sew nicely. Lovely work.
I was so impressed by this angel you did, that I, also ordered this design. Thank you for posting your work; hope I can do as well. Diane M.
Diane, thank you so very much - I am thrilled that you bought it and I hope to see your finished one soon. I wished that I would have gotten a commision from the website - of all those that said they bought it or would. Hehehe!
She is very beautiful. You do beautiful work with your fsl. :)
Denise, thankyou very much - I do have a love of lace.

Shirlene, this is absolutely gorgeous. You did such a wonderful job. Everything you added just sets the design off so well. I hope you're proud of it!
WOW! Another gorgeous beauty! Love her and all her pretty extras!!
Hugs
She is LOVELY!!! Shirlene, and I was wondering how much you would charge for this item, with that many stitches? I have a problem knowing what to charge when there are sooo many stitches. Nice job!
Also, you said that you didn't have a problem with the Metallic thread, could you tell us what brand Metellic thread you use? And what machine do you have? You do beautiful work, Shirlene!
Jane, thank you so very much - I will PM you on the price. As for the Metallic Thread - I purchase mine from The Embroidery Store - http://www.embstore.com/ - 1-800-504-9757
Thanks for the information. When I've tried to use Metallic thread, it wants to twist & kink.
buy the biggest spool you can - use a stand - use a mesh net - use a large needle.
Watt can a say is Gorges gorges i don't like it i do love it .I hope you do have good sell Hugs Maria
Ive been waiting to see what that would look like when finished. Beautiful !
This is quite lovely Shirlene. Hope you sells many. Betty
She is a beauty!! Really like the crystal accents. Well done!
Who is your target market? Where are you marketing?
Its key to your success.
I'm thinking shishi boutique fronts on consignment sale at that price. Specialty
year round christmas shops. In Los Angeles,CA we have different markets.
Lots of stars and people with $$$ but they
shop in different stores than the rest of us. For a decorative item at $250 I think it requires special marketing ideas even online.
Just my 2 cents
Oh my goodness she looks lovely but would be more so in the flesh. It would have taken longer to stitch being metallic as most people have to slow their machines down for this thread....
thank you - I didn't slow my machine down for this thread whatsoever - never had one thread break and only stopped stitching when I had to change bobbins - then on with the stitching.
You have done a wonderful job! Congratulations!!!!
Hugs, Lidia

Yes, there was alot - the metallic thread has to have all the stabilizer rinsed out - to look shiney - so then you have to add a stiffiner to mold it into the shape you see it in. Thanks
Dissapointed no way i did not realise it was metalic thread the camera does not show this but wow in real life it would be even better than the photo....soozie
Hi Shirlene,
HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE TO SEW OUT? LOVE CHRIS
Thanks Chris - it took about 6 hours for the stitching - another couple for the molding and staging - and about a half hour or more for the embellishments.
You have finished her off with just the right amount of crystals. This must have taken you all day just for the stitching.
Thanks Anita - actually I did the stitching yesterday - about 6 hours. Today I did the rinsing, drying and molding and staging - then later this evening I did the emblishment.
Direct link for Heirloom Lace Angel - remember Lindee said that a professional embroidered would charge $250 for one of these.
Well it is a lot of hours of work but you need the right market at $250 not pensioned ederly people on fixed incomes.
Well that was my shock price, it might sell at that price but you need good product placement.
Its the business side of my personality coming out. Products and channels of distribution etc.
oh i love her Shir is she for sale on your site???
I don't have a picture of her or a charge for her - but if you want to do PayPal to shirlene@loveoflace.com - I will be glad to make one for you.
Here is a closer LQQK - if you don't double click on the above picture.
She turned out very nice. I also purchased this design and hope to sew it out.
Becki, thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Denise, thanks - I hope you stitch her soon and share her with us here in PROJECTS.
