Recently - there was a drug raid made in Ogden, UT - the larger city closest to where I live - 6 police officers were shot and 1 of those died - yesterday was his funeral - it was standing room only and every police officer in the area attended - along with all the media and local people. Here is a touching video that was made and shared on YouTube.

drugs have got a lot to answer for haven't they!

so glad to know it was shown on CNN, too.

There are far too many tragic deaths... and we all lose.
I just learned that a friends 20year old nephew lost his life in Afghanistan.
Every life is precious.

here is a newpaper article - that last officer killed in the line of duty in Ogden was in 1963.

This was so sad. It happens way too often. May he rest in peace.
