Sounds to me like you are doing great! In some ways it doesn't seem like it, but you are. It takes a lot out of you to come off that many meds. Keep it up!

Lucy, the saying it no pain no gain. think of your body as a gang of bullies who have had it easy for along time and getting drugs and now they have to go without, what would any bully do but try to make you decided to give it what they demand.
Your nerves will also have to waken up and start doing their job and they too will complain. aches and pains will hopefully start to go as the body starts to get used to going without and the bullies give in.
I used to smoke 30 ciggies a day and then 12 years ago i decided to stop. i decided to stop on the 30th
of December. and put what ciggies i had left on the shelf where i could see them. It was then my choice to not have them, the synoptic nerve is the bully normally a good little boy the nicotine turns him into a bully as he loves the stuff. when you stop smoking it is this tiny nerve that is the bully and whenever i got the craving for a ciggie i would say outloud " no way bully bully bully " and then pretend to put out a cigarette by dropping it and stamping on it. believe it or not
by the time i had said it the craving had started to go. I have not smoked since but yes occasionaly he will try to get me to have one but " no way bully bully bully,"
if a bully started on you or your child you would stand up to it so this is what you must now do. its not easy but worth it all.
good luck and i do hope you manage to get that bungalow. I presume you are in the UK as that is what we call them over here.
Annie in the UK

hang on in there girl and please if you need anyone to talk to then PM me

SO GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU. YOU ARE MAKING GOOD PROGRESS ON GETTING OFF THOSE MEDICATIONS. IT DOES TAKE TIME MAYBE A GOOD MONTH TO REALLY FEEL NORMAL AGAIN. BIG HUG AND CONGRATULATIONS FOR DOING THIS FOR YOURSELF.

Withdrawal, even from prescription medications, is downright evil. It will do things to you that you don't think your body could possibly do. Hang in there, and keep up the good work. If you have come this far, then you can make it all the way!!

COMING OFF DRUGS IS SO VERY TOUGH, I HOPE YOUR DOCTOR IS GETTING YOU TO REDUCE THE INTAKE SLOWLY. IT CAN BE DANGEROUS TO STOP SUDDENLY.
WE ARE ALL PROUD OF YOUR EFFORTS TO DO THIS LUCY AND WE ARE ALL PRAYING YOUR HEALTH WILL IMPROVE.

I WILL ALSO PRAY FOR YOU TO FIND A SUITABLE HOUSE TO BUY SOON.
HUGS AND BLESSINGS, MEGANNE
