Hi, you have done a great job on these clippies. I am the Mother of 2 boys. I do have a grand daughter
who is 19. I would love to know where to begin making these clippies. I have looked at gg's. There
are so many different kinds of barrettes. Where would you suggest I start. I have lots of felt. I like embroidering on felt. I was in Michael's this
afternoon looking at barrettes. Yours are so cute!

I bet that is cute with the glitter felt. Red glitter would look really neat. Great job.
Thank you! I also have some green glitter felt... thinking about that with a fsl shamrock for St Pat day.
very cute !!!
I love the hair clippies for my little granddaughter.
if you are using your embroidery scissores, try using a regular straight sharp pair and trim slowly, you will cut straighter. You should be able to get 4 designs in one 4x4 hooping, 3 on one side, top to bottom and turn the last to go up and down on left. These designs are very nice. Betty
Very nice. For some reason I can't see the glitter but I'm sure in person iits glittery and the girls
will love them.
My goodness Liz these are so lovely - we are not in competition my dear - I have never made hair clippies - I am somewhat scared to try - for fear of not making them right - I am sure that Emily is going to love wearing these. You might have to get a picture of her with them in her hair and share them. Hehehe! *4U
LOL! I know some big girls that like glitter, too... and I'm at the top of the list.
Oh Shirlene, I know we're not competing here... I was just trying to be humble about my project for the afternoon. {{{Big Hugs}}} Emily is just a tad over 18 months right now, but she seems to tolerate things put in her hair very well. I'll post the quilt I made her for Christmas.
no i couldn't see the glimmmmmmmmmer but there lovely hugs
I enlarged the photo and it does show a bit of shimmer. I've seen this felt and wondered what to do with it. These are going to look pretty in Emily's hair.
I don't recall where I got the calligraphy heart from... it was a freebie from somewhere. The flower, is another font ding that I digitized.
