I have a Baby Lock Ellisimo and I can save any of my machine's built in designs...and also the decorative stitches can be saved to the thumb drive...Embird will read the machine's format and then I can save them as a Pes design. I can enlarge the decorative designs and use them for quilt designs...love it!
I have Viking 4D and do this all the time. I see a baby design, it may have words I don't want to use, I edit them out, change colors, etc. and save. I can view them and stitch them so not sure why you can't. Linda
I can on my emb.machine but wanted to transfer them to my computer to SAVE in a folder but did not know how, if possible. My memory on emb. machine has only room for 10 designs, not enough. Betty
I know you can't get designs from your machine onto the brother card.
You also cannot get designs OFF the Brother cards onto the computer.
I have not tried to direct link the machine to the computer to see if designs can be read from the machine this way, but I'm assuming we can't?
If you could it would be from the computer end.
To the best of my knowledge, I don't think there is a feature to save designs from machines to their peripherals only the other way around.
None of my machines have this capability. Sorry. Hugs n roses, Meganne
thank you Meganne, just trying to save time. I tend to keep doing the same designs but not all at once. I find it time consuming to keep putting these designs together and not being able to store them in memory on my machine. Was hoping there would be another way to save them on my computer. Thanks for your help as always. Betty
easier way to retrieve them from my computer. It keeps the old brain working anyway when I come up with these ideas. Thank you for helping again. Betty
I had an EllageoSG3, and now have an Ellegante. I can combine designs and save them-floppy or flash, but even my Designer's Gallery doesn't read them on the computer.
I have a Brother 2500D Innovis embroidery machine and use my embroidery edit to combine designs to make hair clippies right now. I am limited to 10 designs in my memory. I have to keep repeating the process of making words and designs come together for these barrettes. Would like to put these in a file folder on my computer so I can use later. Hope this helps. You can email me at bettytaylor_bt@hotmail.com if more info is needed. Thank you Betty
If your machine has a floppy port, you can save to memory/diskette. That's how I do it w/the Brother ULT'02 &'03.Else, I don't have a solution.
Sorry, insufficient information to be able to offer suggestions. :-))
