Martine

Just look at these. Your pixie ears have come out great. I split the stitch useing sewwhatpro on the one with double runs so i could easily put in the inserts.I also created a mirror image to make a matching pair
less than three minutes to actually complete the pair which included the baste stitch to hold the fabric down.
I have put instructions up in projects on how they were made.
many many thanks for all your kindness. annie in the uk.

Cute. The bottom ones could be pixie ears too if you change the colours.

Annie - these are so cute. Is the basting stitch good on SWP? Haven't used it yet.

yep fantastic go to "TOOLS" and then hit baste stitch , you have a choice of two, one is around the pattern and the other around the inside of the frame. I often slightly enlarge the one around the pattern and i also use both when needed
you can do a repeat of the baste stitch just by clicking on it and doing the copy / paste on the machine
I love that becasue i use the first outline to place my material if its a small design like the ears and then the second secures the fabric. the first one allows me to cut the fabric so a closer size and so save wastage.
hope this answeres your Q.

you can also duplicate the baste stitich around the design i use the first one to measure my fabric when doing small designs like the ears to save wastage and he second to secure the fabric

I love them, especially the furry ones!! Great work!
I assumed you could mirror easily on your machine, thought all embroidery machines had that feature. My Brother 190D doesn't allow the built-in Disney designs to be mirrored, but it works for everything else - and that's my cheapest (or should I say least expensive) machine.

yes it does mops but its actually faster for me to do it in the software program and then sew out in pairs inside a baste stitch block.annie
