After day 1 of second chemo session I was in the bathroom from 3:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. or there abouts being sick to my stomach. Not much came up but lots of nasty taste. Maybe I should take the nausea pill before I go to bed even if I am not nauseated. Cancer is no fun but with the love and prayers of my "cutie club" I will get through it again. Thank every single one of you for being out there in cyber space with hugs, I tell everyone I meet about you all!

Hugs, Debra

Yes it does but I only really need them on days I get chemo. The rest of the time I seem to be doing OK. Just gotta keep putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward.

I think of you and pray for you. I always take my nausea tablet before I go to bed, and then when I wake up again. When the nausea is really bad, they give me a suppository to insert, otherwise nothing help because the tablet keeps coming back with next wave of nausea. Hope you feel better today. God bless you and hubby.***Lovies.

Thank you. I don't get nausea every day, just now and then but usually the first or 2nd day of chem. I get 3 days in a row then skip 2 weeks. Am not feeling too bad. Hope you feel good.

Doing OK today, hope to go out for a bit as the temps are suppose to be nice for a day or so. Pain patches are doing a very nice job so can't complain too much. Next chemo is Feb. 8th-11th.

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling ok. Not much of a break between treatments.

We do all think we are invincible. Turns out we aren't. It really is too bad we all can't "live today like it's your last". Even after being sick, I'm sure I am wasting time.

My sweetie I thought on you the hole day and how you are doing. Not good to hear about you feeling sick :o( Do you know Vomex? That saves me during the pregnancy (I took the juice-version for the kids :o) cause nothing stayed in my stomach not even water.
Maybe some acupuncture-needles will help?
Feel yourself enwraped with all the energy and love from us all here...

OH my dear Debra, I was so hoping that you would not have any nausea - but if there is a way to do this - that will work - I hope you figure it out - I hate more than anything to be sick or feel sick and that nasty taste is the worst - I have been having a metal taste in my mouth from these antibodies and that is sickening to me - I can't even imagine what you are going through - I will be praying for you and sending you cyber hugs - hoping that it helps - I am glad that you have support from around the world - we love you lady!

It would be easier if the people around me could ease up, I keep turning the volume down on the TV and he keeps turning it up, I can't think straight. Ondansetron and Prochlorperazine for nausea.

Deb when my hubby was on chemo he found chrystalized ginger(gotten at health flood store)helped with that awful nausea. He would nibble a bit from time to time. It's kinda like candy. Personally I liked the taste./Lillian
